Review: To describe something as “very nice” is not equivalent to describing something as “so beautiful.” Nice, very nice, or not nice describes the qualities of a person place or thing. Beautiful, on the other hand, describes one’s experience of a person place or thing. Both are subjective valuations made by an individual, but the focus. For example, a fancy, hand crafted dessert may be very nice to eat and beautiful to took at. People do frequently use adjectives sloppily and confuse communication.
